What I've been up to ... and a new product!

I have had a crazy busy summer, even without teaching summer school!  Here's a little of what I've been up to!

We have completed our training and various requirements to be foster parents and are anxiously waiting for that first phone call!

My sister and I took her kids to a nearby farm.  We stopped at a small family owned diner for lunch afterwards!
My husband I went to Charlotte for a couple of days.
We visited the Billy Graham Library.
And went to Sea Life Aquarium!
They have a tunnel to walk through - we were able to see so many other creatures in there!
We just got home from an eleven day visit to Josh's family in Indianapolis.  We were there for the fourth and enjoyed our time with family!

 with our niece, Elle

In Virginia, our Social Studies curriculum has us teaching George Washington Carver in our Famous American unit.  Here's some of the pages I just finished working on.

I have this on sale in my TpT store until Wednesday, July 16 ... however, I am going to give away this unit.  Just leave your email address ALONG WITH what you have enjoyed the MOST during the summer!  I will take comments UNTIL Thursday, July 17.

  3. I enjoyed teaching English Camp in Latvia for a week. I met so many amazing people there who showered me with love. What a blessing it was to work with these kiddos! jaglanzer@yahoo.com
