I'm Still Here!

I have been ridiculously busy this fall!  In addition to the beginning of the school year, I have been the assistant director for our Judgement House outreach at my church.  I have made some amazing friends and saw God work in even more amazing ways!  I am sad that it is over, but am enjoying the little bit of extra time that I now have.

I have created this mini capital letter unit for my firsties.  At the beginning of the year they struggle with using capital letters throughout the entire word ... or no capital letters at all!

Short & Sweet (with two freebies!)

I have very little time to get this posted, so here it is!  We're working on addition with my firsties and here's 2 addition freebies for you!

This first one is a cover up game.  Click {here} to get it from my TPT store.

The second game is also for addition.  Click {here} to get this one from scribd!

A Math Freebie!

Happy short week of school!

Today was our 11th day of school and the beginning of our second math unit.  The standard we are learning about contains the terms greater, less, more, and fewer.  This is hard for many children, but if you use pictures and manipulatives, more will understand!  I was pleasantly surprised to see how many of my children understood and took off with their work today.  I am sharing the unit with you and hope that you will be able to use it with your children!  Click {here} to get this from my TPT account.

I hope you have a great week!

September's Here! {and a September freebie!}

With September here, I look forward to sweaters, cool mornings, apple cider, and college football!  I think it will be a while before I can enjoy the sweaters and cool mornings, especially with temperatures in the 80s this week!

With getting ready for September, I have prepared a freebie for you that you can use either for your Math Wall or just to sort and place numbers in order.  These calendar numbers create an ABB pattern and also include cards for holidays that you might celebrate or recognize for the month.  Click {here} to go to my TPT store to get the cards!
