Show and Tell Tuesday

I am linking up with Stephanie at Forever in Fifth for my Show and Tell Tuesday, all about fun October things!
I love fall ... football, apples, apple cider, football, cool mornings, the pumpkin patch. It's a great time to make wonderful memories with your family and friends.
It's also a lot of fun in the classroom!
We made some fun crafts for our bulletin board. The candy corn come from this October craftivity by A Cupcake for the Teacher.  The Frankensteins are out of square green paper and I have the children black construction paper to create the hair and bolts. I gave them very little assistance on the Frankensteins. I love their creativity!
My second graders are starting to explore Maker Spaces. They have been reading and researching different kinds of spiders and then used their information to write a paragraph about spiders. The gifted teacher is coming in on Friday to help us start a large web out of various crafting supplies for our spiders to "live in" for a few weeks. I have some of these items ready for them to use to create their spider for the web.

And my first graders have just finished their equality unit! Check out this blog post about our activities.

I'm off to see what others are sharing on Show and Tell Tuesday!
