Double Digit Addition

My second grade class has been busy solving two digit addition problems. They are such hard workers! I was blown away this week, watching one struggle and his team member leaned over his desk and walked him through step-by-step how to solve the problem. 

In my last five years being in second grade, I've gotten bored at times during our double digit units because so many times we do the same thing. every. single. day. I have some great ideas and activities that I have found to share with you that will keep your students engaged.

This math craft has a variety of options to practice solving addition and subtraction problems. We had a blast solving, checking our work, and then putting the craft together this week. I absolutely love the riddles, game, and crafts from Teaching Trove on TpT!
