It's May!

It's so hard to believe that it's May!  Yesterday one of my kiddos noticed that we started our last page in our monthly behavior calendars (I combine May & June together since we're only in school for 3 days in June).

New month means ... CuRrEnTlY
The later in the school year we are, the earlier my bedtime!  Love our DVR and that I can catch up the next day - we're watching "Psych" now!

THINKING: I spent a while with our school's testing coordinator this afternoon: since I taught in a standardized testing grade several years ago, I have been trained to proctor the VA Standards of Learning (SOLs) tests.  So ...... she has asked me to help by giving tests and an aide will cover my class.  I am stressing over finding things for my firsties to do (without a TON of busy-work) and keep them still learning, reviewing, etc.

BUCKET LIST: our 10th wedding anniversary is this summer and Josh and I would love to get away.  And like ALL teachers, needing to relax and recharge!

Head over to Farley to see what other people are doing!

Since it's May, I have a couple of "May Flowers" activities to share with you.  And these are on the list of things for the aide to do with my kiddos next week!

Clicking on the image will take you directly to that item in my TpT store.

    1. I know! Any show on at 10:00 is watched at another time! I don't know how other people do it - stay up late and get up early - I can't do it! :)
